Stronger not smaller

A question I ask myself entirely too often. The short and obvious answer is I’m working day and night to stop the hands of time. It’s not purely vanity, though it certainly plays a role. It’s more of societal pressure I feel where my relevance slips slightly away with each tick of the second hand on my perfectly worn in watch.

What I have discovered over the last decade plus is I can’t really achieve “younger” but I have managed what I would describe as “same”. The fat in your face is going to melt. The muscles will weaken. All the little lines resulting from a life lived are going to appear. And thats OK. There are no exceptions to the rule. But if I can put in some work to slow that process, I’m in.

Join me for some laughs and maybe a few tears along the way.
